"The retreat still makes me feel good when I think about it and all that we did. I came home and continued working making more and more posters and I’m still making more. The kids love them and have thanked me over and over for making them. I know that they will constantly be progressing throughout the year because I’m always thinking of new concepts that can be illustrated. One of my principals came into my room to just visit and was very impressed. He couldn’t believe I had made them. The posters work for all levels and I’ve been switching them out from time to time depending on what we are studying. If I can do it, anyone can. Again thank you for such a worthwhile experience." "The two days include accommodations in a beautiful setting full of antiques, gourmet meals, total relaxation, and a creative ambiance that you’ll miss as soon as the workshop ends." "I’ve been putting up some of the beautiful posters I made during your retreat in June, …Since I’ve been talking up your retreat and dragging people into my class to see the display, you might very well have started a trend! You both made us feel so pampered and welcome! It was the best workshop I’ve ever attended focus on students , craft at your fingertips, my first chair massage (!), gourmet food, and most of all, the fellowship of dedicated people! Merci mille fois!" "Just a short note to thank you for taking great care of me at the teachers’ retreat. I left refreshed, renewed and ready for a great school year. The accommodations were first class and the food would please the most finicky eater. I appreciate all of your efforts." "First let me thank you for the wonderful workshop. I finished all the ones started there. Looking forward to a relaxing retreat next summer. Several of the math teacher here are jealous. I told them you could also do math posters if they let you know what they needed." "We are in our first week, and my students love the posters that I made this summer. The upper level kids especially appreciate the ‘verb wall’. I used velcro to hang it on the wall so that I can un-velcro posters during tests." |
